A classic French dish of chicken cooked in red wine with mushrooms, onions, and bacon.
- Brown bacon in a pot, then remove. In the same pot, brown chicken thighs.
- Add garlic, thyme, mushrooms, and pearl onions to the pot. Cook until onions are soft.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture, then add red wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
- Cover and transfer to the oven to bake until the chicken is tender.
- Serve the chicken with the sauce and vegetables, garnished with cooked bacon.
